While addressing a public meeting in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday said that he wants to make the city the education hub of India.
“My intention is to make Amethi the education hub of India. And with that intention, we established FDDI, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology and many other educational institutions,” Gandhi said.
Accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of snatching employment opportunities from the youth of Amethi by taking away the Rafale deal from HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) and giving it to Anil Ambani.
“PM Modi robbed opportunities from the youth of Amethi by taking away the Rafale deal from HAL and giving it to Anil Ambani. In Modi’s Rafale deal aircrafts are not made in India,” Gandhi said.

“Mr. Modi promised 2 crore jobs, but in reality, 27000 jobs are lost every 24 hours under his government. We will fill up 22 lakh government vacancies and create 10 lakh jobs in Panchayats,” he added.
