Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday posted a “Pop Quiz” on Twitter. As it was supposed to be “quiz”, Gandhi did not name any political party in his tweet, but it had an apparent reference to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
“Pop Quiz. I bow to the most powerful in the line. A person’s strength & power are all that are important to me. I use hatred & fear to maintain the hierarchy of power. I seek out the weakest & crush them. I rank all living beings based on their usefulness to me. Who am I?”

A video was also posted along with the tweet, which showed activist Swami Agnivesh being assaulted by a mob, which the victim alleged to be people belonging to the BJP affiliate, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).
The BJYM workers raised slogans and black flags before attacking Swami Agnivesh. While speaking to NDTV, the 80-year-old activist said it was kind of a mob lynching only, wherein he was manhandled and attacked by a group of people, and his clothes torn.
He also said that he was attacked by people belonging to BJP-RSS and VHP.

His tweet comes a day after he tweeted about what the Congress party stand for and what he supports. “I stand with the last person in the line. The exploited, marginalised and the persecuted. Their religion, caste or beliefs matter little to me. I seek out those in pain and embrace them. I erase hatred and fear. I love all living beings. I am the Congress,” he tweeted yesterday.
This tweet of Gandhi came in response to BJP’s alleging that the Congress president had said, “Yes, Congress is a Muslim party.”
The Congress also denied of Gandhi making this statement.
“Dear @nsitharaman, please stop holding press conferences quoting fake news articles. The Congress at its core is an inclusive party and has always condemned communal incidents. BJP on the other hand thrives on creating communal disharmony & facts prove this,” Congress tweeted from its official Twitter handle.
