Congress president Rahul Gandhi to visit Karnataka on April 26-27

Congress President Rahul Gandhi will visit Karnataka on April 26 and 27 to campaign for the upcoming state elections. The Karnataka elections will be held on May 12, and the results of which will be announced on May 15. The Congress president will visit Uttara Kannada district tomorrow.

Rahul Gandhi will first be addressing a public meeting in Ankola, following which the Congress president will leave for Masstikatte Circle in Kumta where again he will be delivering a speech. In the evening, Rahul Gandhi will visit Bhatkal where he will address a public meeting.

Also, the state Congress will be releasing its manifesto for the upcoming polls on April 27.  The manifesto will be released simultaneously at different places by top leaders of the Congress. Where, Rahul Gandhi will be releasing the manifesto in Mangaluru, Sam Pitroda will be releasing the same in Bengaluru. Party senior leader Mallikarjun Kharge will be releasing the manifesto in Kalaburagi whereas former Union Minister and MP Shashi Tharoor wil be releasing it in Hubballi.

The Congress has been in the power in Karnataka since 2013 and is leaving no stone unturned in its campaigning in a bid to form the government in the southern state for second consecutive term.
