According to Union MoS for Railways Suresh Angadi indicators that prove that the Indian economy is “doing very well” are, trains and airports being full, and weddings not being called off.
Responding to a question asked by The Indian Express, Angadi said “common people are happy” and “only few people are trying to damage the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi”.
” The state of the economy is very good. Airport full hai, koi seat nahin milta, railway station mein ticket nahin milta, woh full hai…Kisi ka shaadi nahin rukta hai, kisi ka kaam nahin rukta hai (Airports are full, you don’t get seats easily. You don’t get railway tickets easily. Weddings are not being called off. No one’s work is affected),” he said.
“The common people…they are more happy. Only few people are creating (the issue) to damage the name of (the) honourable PM, who is more popular in the world,” Angadi added.
